Peaceful Presence End-of-Life Doulas have been present for hundreds of deaths, both professionally and personally. We have over 30 years combined experience as nurses and yoga teachers. We would be honored to partner with you so that you may feel more comfortable with death: your own or your family member's.
Erin Collins, RN BSN, CHPN, RYT
Erin has over 13 years of nursing experience. She is a is a certified hospice and palliative care nurse with experience in adult and pediatric oncology. Erin teaches yoga as the cycle of life and death- each breath and each savasana the chance to die and start again. Her heart's work is in end-of-life care and she is passionate about changing the way people talk about, plan for, and experience death and dying. She educates and empowers families to be present with their loved ones in the final stage of life, however long that may be.

Jamie Kertay, RN BSN CHPN, CYT
Jamie has 26 years of nursing experience in integrative medicine and hospice care. She is an adjunct professor of nursing at Central Oregon Community College, as well as a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Healing Touch practitioner. Jamie was also called back to end-of-life care after leaving bedside nursing in 2017. Jamie wants families to know that they can embrace and evolve in the dying process. She is inspired to help families be more involved and present during death and dying, educating about the process, the presence and the post-death memorial opportunities.
Kari Sims Anthon, C-IAYT, ERYT-500, YACEP
Kari is honored to hold space for others as they live fully while stepping into their final stages of life. Kari had the sacred privilege of helping both of her parents through their respective cancer journeys and end of life care 15 years apart, and has been sharing the teachings of yoga for over 2 decades. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, a featured teacher on YogaAnytime.com and the founder/director of Life.Love.Yoga. in Sisters, Oregon since 2009. She is enthusiastically pursuing her End of Life Doula Professional Certificate from the University of Vermont Larner School of Medicine, and is a member of INELDA and The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath and Death.
